sister in Taipei

 

Terry was back in Taiwan. She divided her 10-day stay in Taiwan between Taipei and Hsin-Chu. Mostly she stayed in Hsin- chu to be with Mom. When she came to Taipei last week , Lee- mong came over from Toa- Yan to join us.

The weather was awful when they came, drizzling all day in Taipei. Therefore, we just had to change some of our outing plan: dropping the plan to 鼻頭角 Park , and instead to 士林官邸 and Yangmingshan.

Much to our disappointment, Yangmingshan was wet, cold, and very foggy. We could only drove through the 海芋花 area, and watched the flowers in the distance.

Happy birthday to A-Ma

A family reunion on Mid -Autumn Festival has long been our custom. Mom's birthday is four days after moon festival. So we combine two events together for our convenience.

With family member spreading around the world, it is not easy to have a reunion with full family members. In this picture, Steven was giving a red envelope to A-Ma on behalf of us . A-ma's cheerful smile told us she was very happy and content.

兒子回台

Son was back in Taiwan for Summer break. His stay was very short , only 12 days. He did as many fun things as possible to make up what he missed during the past five years.
I teased him like a Hill Billy in Taipei, many things in Taiwan are very different than they were when he left Taiwan.
The most crazy thing he did was going to night clubs with friends three nights in a row.
